Your Future is in Your Heart

We can have faith to just get through the moment, or we can have faith to create a new future. The difference is vision. Some can only see one day at a time. Others see the possibilities that can be created through faith filled words and actions. A seed in the hand of a visionary carries unlimited harvests. In the hand of another it could be tossed in the trash. Vision determines the future.

“things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” (Heb. 11:3)

The present “things” of our lives such as the circumstances, limitations, hardships or successes, were brought into a visible reality by means of thoughts, attitudes, words and actions. The future things of our lives will appear in the same way.

Yes, other people and circumstances play a part, but much of what we have become is the visible result of the invisible faith or fear in our hearts. How we approach life sets the stage for our futures. Fear, anxiety, doubt and self-centeredness will bring a harvest of misery. If the vision of our hearts is positive, faith filled, and full of joy and love, our futures will be blessed.

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart brings forth good things. (Mt. 12:35)

Your future is in your heart! Your vision determines your future! Future circumstances, opportunities, blessings, victories, healings and successes are residing in your heart right now! Rather than believing to just get by another day, why not discover and release God’s provision into your future? Meditate on, speak and act on His promises. Sow His seeds of grace into others. Lift up your eyes! God’s grace is waiting for you. The choice is yours.

Religious Pride Brings Dissension

Mark 15:10 'For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy.'

MARK 15:10
The Jews were God's chosen people and therefore, God's representatives on earth. Yet, they lied and condemned an innocent man to death. Pilate could see that their real motivation for wanting Jesus dead was envy. They were doing all their religious works to be seen of men, and were upset that Jesus was getting more recognition than they were. If these Jews would have thought about what type of witness they were giving, even they would have known that their actions were not inspired by God.

We should remember that we are God's witnesses on earth, or as Paul said, 'We are epistles... known and read of all men' (2 Cor. 3:2). Judging our actions in the light of, 'What kind of witness will this give to others?' will help us discern whether or not we are being led of God.

The chief priests had deceived themselves and other religious people into believing that they were condemning Jesus for godly reasons, but even an ungodly ruler like Pilate could see through their lies. Religious bondage blinds people to the truth even more than sin does.

These rulers wanted to retain their power and authority, so they fought against the power and authority of Jesus. This is still the same today. Men use doctrinal issues to disguise the real issue. The truth is that, 'Only by pride cometh contention' (Prov. 13:1. People who love to have the preeminence (3 Jn. 9) are usually the instigators of persecution.

Mass Deportation is not new to Amerikkka's
Between 13,200 and 16,700 people died on the Trail of Tears. The Trail of Tears was part of the Indian Removal, a forced relocation of Indigenous Americans to Indian Territory. The Cherokee removal, which took place from 1838 to 1839, was part of the Trail of Tears and involved the displacement of approximately 15,500 Cherokees and 1,500 African-American slaves.
