By the time you're working the Totenreich Easter Egg in Black Ops 7, the map has probably stopped feeling mysterious and started feeling rude. The Atomkraft Core step is one of those moments where a clean run can turn ugly fast, especially if your squad isn't ready for the slow carry and the defense that follows. If you've been practicing routes, testing weapons, or warming up in CoD BO7 Bot Lobbies, this is where that muscle memory actually pays off. You won't get near the Core until the three Uranium pieces are handled and the Claw Machine puzzle in the Machine Workshop is done, so don't rush into this thinking it's just a quick pickup.
Moving the Atomkraft Core
Once the Core is in your hands, you'll feel the problem straight away. It's heavy. You can't sprint, and ziplines are off the table, so the walk to Eidskallen Landing becomes a proper escort job. The landing is near Quick Revive, and the spot you want is the wooden pallet just to the right of the machine. Don't let the carrier wander off alone. One player should clear the front, another should watch the back, and if you're solo, keep stopping for short bursts of killing rather than trying to shove through every zombie in your path. Hopping while moving can help a little, but it won't save you if you get boxed in.
Surviving the Charging Lockdown
After the Core is placed, head into Lief's Boat Repair and hit the power switch on the west wall. That starts the lockdown, and it lasts about 70 seconds. It doesn't sound too bad on paper, but the zombies come in hard and the Core needs protection the whole time. A safe way to play it is to loop around Quick Revive and the outside of the boat shed, then cut back in when needed. Keep checking the generator inside. If the blue sparks stop, drop what you're doing and jumpstart it. You'll need to get through this charging process twice. If the attempt falls apart, don't tilt. Pick up the Core, reset your spacing, and run it again.
Crossing Through the Snowstorm
When the Atomkraft Core is charged, the map throws another problem at you: the storm. Carrying it to Storm Bridge means taking frost damage the entire way, so Jugger-Nog is close to mandatory unless you enjoy crawling on the floor. Stim Shots are a smart backup, and the Jotunn Star makes the route much less painful because it can break through the ice walls that rise up to block you. Move through the Square and the Market with purpose. Don't stop to farm kills. Your job is to reach the middle of Storm Bridge, across from Deadshot Daiquiri, and place the Core on the barrel facing Tyr.
What to Do After Tyr Powers Up
Once the Core is set, Tyr comes alive and the fight with Dravakar kicks off in front of you. It's a great scene, but don't stand there admiring it for too long. Zombies still push in, and it's very easy to get slapped down while watching the show. Clear space, stay moving, and wait for the moment when you can collect the Dravakar Shard from Tyr's Foot.
