Most players only start caring about humidifiers after their Expedition screen asks for five of them. By then, a few may already have been recycled for parts. If you are sorting through ARC Raiders Items, this is one of the easy-to-miss pieces worth keeping. It belongs to the Residential loot pool, not the usual industrial scrap pile, so apartments, cupboards, lockers, and domestic storage are where you should spend your time.
The quickest run is still Buried City's Red Tower. Head for the upper residential room and check the two red lockers before touching anything else. One Humidifier can spawn there when the room has not been opened by another Raider. That's the catch: "guaranteed" means it appears in the match, not that it'll still be waiting for you. If both lockers are open, don't hang around pretending the next drawer will save the run. The metro nearby makes a fast reset much more sensible.

Veteran players usually treat Red Tower as a short retrieval job, not a full loot session. Get in, check the lockers, then leave if you have the item. It sounds obvious, but people lose plenty of Humidifiers because they decide to "just check one more room." If Red Tower is empty and you are already carrying decent gear, the Hospital and Space Travel areas are fair backups. Look for cabinets, bedside drawers, lockers, and small household containers. Don't waste half a raid opening combat crates when you need a Residential item.
Before doing any of this, check your own Projects menu. The first Expedition's Outfitting phase is known to require five Humidifiers, alongside Advanced Electrical Components, Magnetic Accelerators, and Leaper Pulse Units. Your personal Expedition progress may not match the current global window, though. Once you've secured the required amount, contribute them when the phase is open. That keeps them out of your recycling pile and clears stash space. If you are short on time or tired of contested tower runs, some players choose to buy ARC Items while still using Red Tower as the main farming route, since a clean extraction matters more than stuffing your bag with unrelated loot.
